The most requested models in Mercedes vehicle armoring are the S-Class (S 500, S 350, S 300), E-Class, G 63 AMG, X-Class, Vito and Sprinter. Sedan bodies such as the S-Class and E-Class are armored at VR6 and VR8; SUV and pickup bodies such as the G-Class and X-Class at VR8 and VR10. In Vito and Sprinter projects the cabin and passenger compartment are engineered separately.
Armor steel and aramid panels are fitted into doors, roof, floor and pillars; bulletproof glass is produced to the original glazing thickness. Brakes, suspension and axles are reinforced for the added weight and run-flat tyres are fitted. The vehicle keeps its exterior and comfort after armoring.
